Circuit weight training provides a full-body workout. The circuit is comprised of multiple exercise stations where resistive and aerobic exercises are performed.

Circuit weight training program:

 - 45 seconds activity and 45 seconds rest
- 12 to 15 repetitions at each station
- 2 to 3 circuits 4x per week
- workout a minimum of 20 minutes per session

Training frequency:

- Less fit individual; Many, easier and longer workouts
- More fit individual; Fewer, harder and shorter workouts

Calculate "Target Heart Rate (HR)" / Desired training zone
A) 220 - age = age predicted maximal heart rate (APMHR)
B) Multiply by desired % of APMHR

Target HR ranges:

- 60% to 70% unfit individual
- 70% to 80% in average shape
- 75% to 85% in good shape
