Preetha Nair, PT,CI,SCCE

Preetha Nair is a Physical Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. She graduated with honors from India and was a University Gold Medalist in Exercise Therapy. 

Over the past 20 years she has worked in various capacities/roles, in a variety of Physical Therapy settings, with people from different cultural backgrounds, different clinical diagnoses and co-morbidities. From a lead Physical Therapist, to managing more than 11 Rehabilitation centers across California, for multiple national Rehabilitation Corporations, she has balanced clinical care and operational goals with patient satisfaction being the key focus.
Her guiding treatment philosophy is,"Quality patient care, delivered with skill and compassion, along with a good understanding of the patient as a whole".  Utilizing her extensive knowledge in diagnosing and treating the physical therapy aspects of various medical, orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary and psychosomatic disorders, she implements customized treatment plans for patients with special emphasis on community re-integration and self- reliance. 
Armed with a cache of rich and varied experience, and a vision to strive for greater excellence in patient care, she acquired the Tri-City Physical Therapy Clinics in Union City and Fremont. 
As Chief Executive Officer of Tri-City Physical Therapy, she shares her clinical vision and guiding philosophy with all her staff, creating a uniform culture of excellence in the practice.
Community wellness has always been a special focus at the Tri-City Physical Therapy practice. Preetha is also a certified Maharshi Ayurveda Wellness Counselor and certified Tai-Chi for Rehabilitation and Fall Prevention Instructor.

Preetha Nair is the founder and Program Director of Tri-City Physical Therapy's Samasta Wellness Program, which is an all encompassing wellness program, where experts in the fields of Physical Therapy, Personal Training, Holistic Nutrition, Iyengar Yoga and Massage Therapy, have come together at one location to serve the community.
This one-of-a-kind program is self-initiated, scientific, holistic, evidence based and goal-oriented. Most importantly it is very affordable and customized for the general population, spanning all age groups from children, youth, adults to older adults.

Vanessa Rowen, DPT,CI

Vanessa is a Physical Therapist who received her Doctorate from the University of the Pacific. She is the Director of Clinical Services for Tri-City Physical Therapy and the Program Director at the Union City location. She enjoys working with patients of all age groups. Her special interest is in Pediatrics, especially children with various orthopedic and sports injuries. Vanessa takes great pride in mentoring students from other Doctorate and Assistant programs. She is a certified Tai-Chi for Fall Prevention instructor. Vanessa spear heads the mentoring and patient education programs in the practice. She is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Fremont. Vanessa is a dog-lover and enjoys all types of dance and reading a good book on the beach.

Nimoli Malhotra, PT

​Nimoli is a Physical Therapist who graduated from India. She has practiced in a variety of in-patient and out-patient settings, with a special interest in Orthopedics. Her dedication, and ability to provide compassionate care to pre and post natal patients, while successfully treating patients of all age groups, earned her the title of "Physical Therapist of the Year" just before moving to the Bay Area. Nimoli is driven to continually update her professional skills and to stay up-to-date with new technologies in the field of Physical therapy. She aims to improve her patients' well-being while being aligned with the practice' philosophy of "quality patient care with an understanding of the patient as a whole". In her spare time Nimoli loves a good book, and she also enjoys traveling to explore new places with her family.

Ketaki Malshe, PT

Ketaki is a Physical Therapist who graduated from India. Her experience has been in a variety of different settings, with patients of all age groups, however her special interest is in pre and post surgical orthopedic conditions. She strives to skillfully and compassionately guide her patients to their goals of returning to normal functional activities after major physical trauma. She derives great satisfaction from helping people through her chosen field, and that motivates her every single day! In her free time she enjoys listening to music, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Michael Vison, PTA,CI

 Michael is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from the prestigious Ohlone College PTA program.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Cal State University, East Bay .  Michael continues to sharpen his Manual Therapy skills and increase his cache of Therapeutic exercises. He is also a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and mentors students from several Physical Therapist Assistant programs.  He is a sports fanatic who closely follows his Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.  Michael enjoys playing various sports, traveling, eating and looking for opportunities to try new foods. His patients are always delighted by his sweet smile and quick wit.

Priyanka Chheda, PT,CI

​Priyanka is a Physical Therapist who received her degree from India with a specialization in spinal conditions. She was a senior Physical Therapist at Qi spine specialists in India, before she made Fremont her home. She is the Program Director at the Fremont location. Priyanka believes in the clinic's holistic approach to all patient conditions and is also a certified Yoga, Tai-Chi for Fall Prevention and aerobics instructor.
She is a mentor and certified clinical instructor for students from different Physical Therapy and Assistant programs. Her bubbly personality and cheerful demeanor endear her to her patients. Priyanka enjoys having a “fun” atmosphere at work, traveling the world, and hanging out with friends.



Army Patel, MPT

​ Army is a Physical Therapist, who received her Masters in Physical Therapy from India, with a concentration in the Musculo-skeletal system. She began her career at a renowned Cancer Hospital in India, after which she moved to the Bay Area. Army has received specialized training in the Maitland Manual Therapy Technique and continues to enhance her manual therapy skills through continued education. She enjoys getting to know people from different cultures and helping them achieve their unique and individual functional goals. Her love of being around people from diverse cultures and helping them, is one of the primary reasons she made Physical Therapy her chosen profession. She is a new mom who enjoys dancing, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Kosha Patel, MPT

Kosha is a Physical Therapist who received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Her specialization is in Advanced Musculoskeletal disorders. She has over 15 years of experience and has worked in various clinical settings.She is deeply committed to delivering quality care and achieving superior patient outcomes. Her pleasant manner and efficient communication skills help her develop a quick and trusting rapport with all her patients. She is a very outdoorsy person who enjoys spending time hiking the beautiful trails of the Bay Area with her family. She enjoys reading and listening to music. She also loves travelling to new places and exploring different cuisines with her family and friends.

Daniel Recoder, PTA

Daniel is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from from the prestigious Ohlone College PTA program. His passion for music and the marching arts guided him into the Physical Therapy profession. Daniel has had over a decade of musical coaching experience which he incorporates into his treatment strategies. His fascination for human anatomy, particularly the musculo-skeletal system motivates him to continuously learn and apply new ways to challenge strength, balance, and coordination to get better outcomes for his patients.  Daniel is an exercise and outdoor enthusiast and a very talented cook. He also spends his free time coaching marching percussionists, and spending quality family time.

Errol Tongco, PTA

Errol is a Physical Therapist Assistant who recently graduated from the prestigious PTA program at Ohlone College. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State University, East Bay. Errol has coached Tennis for Bay Area Youth for a number of years. This interaction and his background in kinesiology motivated him to seek a career in Physical Therapy. Errol has a particular interest in manual therapy and pediatrics. His mild manner, positive attitude and ability to start every treatment session with a big smile endears him to all his patients. Errol is an avid rock-climber and loves hiking. He also enjoys wearing flannel shirts(!) and hanging out with friends and family.
